Following the recent 4G LTE introduction by top ISP's in Nigeria, it has become wearisome to most mobile device users who want to upgrade to 4G enabled device or even integrated on their 3G and lower device.
However in this post I will show you, how to tweak any android phone to work with 4G network.
To activate 4G LTE on your android, just goto Google playstore and search for CPU-Z or (Click here to download CPU-z.
But before downloading the above app, make sure you followed the quoted instruction if you are using MTN;
Yello! You need to upgrade your SIM card and device to enjoy MTN 4G LTE. Please visit the nearest MTN store or partner retailer to upgrade now.
For more information of MTN 4G LTE, including 4G coverage location; please visit http://www.mtnonline.com/4g or walk-in to any of our service centers nationwide.
After successful installation, on Homepage you can check what is your Processor.
If its Mediatek processor then Download Engineering mode app from Playstore.
Install Engineering Mode app and open it, Scroll down and check "Preferred Selection" and click on drop down button.
Then Select LTE/WCDMA/GSM and save it.
Finally, off and on your phone and you will see your phone up and running on full 4G LTE Network mode.
This tweak has not been confirmed by me though!
